Bold News Analysis

Editorial policy

Bold News Analysis aims to make its reasoning visible. Readers should be able to tell what a piece is examining, what it supports and where the account has limits.

Accuracy and clarity

We take care with wording, distinguish reported claims from our own analysis, and avoid presenting an inference as an established fact. When a subject remains uncertain or accounts are incomplete, we say so plainly. We do not invent sources, quotations, examples presented as real events, or credentials.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for the publication's readers and subject matter. A partner or contributor does not receive editorial control in exchange for a placement or collaboration. We aim to make the basis and limits of an argument understandable rather than ask readers to rely on authority.

Corrections

If you notice a factual error or a misleading passage, contact us through the Contact page with the relevant wording and an explanation. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the piece and make the correction clear to readers.

Partner material and illustrations

Material made with a partner, or content whose placement is paid for, will be clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where used, they will be identified as such and will not be presented as documentary evidence.
